Why turmeric, honestly
Not for brightness. For calm.
Turmeric has been sold in India as a fairness ingredient for fifty years. That is not what it does, and it is not why it's in this bar.
- It calms, and calm is what evens toneCurcuminoids are studied for anti-inflammatory action. Less inflammation around a blemish means fewer dark marks left behind — which is what people are actually seeing when they say a tone looks more even.

Nothing pulls
The rinse ends and your face feels soft rather than stretched. That single change is the whole argument for this bar — and it's the one you can verify tomorrow morning.
Week one
Less reactive skin
Stop stripping twice a day and the low-grade irritation settles down. Redness around blemishes calms first; oily skin often produces less, having stopped over-compensating.
Week three
A more even look
Marks fade on schedule instead of lingering, and fewer new ones form. This is the slow one, and we would rather say so than have you judge it on Thursday.
Before you buy
Four things it will not do.
- It will not lighten your skin tone.
- Turmeric evens out how tone looks by calming inflammation and the marks it leaves. It is not a bleaching agent, and we will never sell it as one.
- It will not treat cystic acne.
- A wash-off product gets ninety seconds. If your acne is deep and painful, see a dermatologist — this sits alongside that treatment, it does not replace it.
- It will not work overnight on tone.
- Softness, day one. Calm, about a week. Tone, closer to three. Give it a full three weeks before you decide.
- It will not smell strong for hours.
- Real orange oil with nothing synthetic pinning it in place. Bright in the shower, then it politely leaves.
Questions worth asking
What makes this different from a ₹90 turmeric soap?
The base. Cheap bars are built on stripping detergent bases with the glycerin removed and sold on; ours is a glycerin-rich base, which is why your face doesn't feel tight afterwards. The turmeric is also dosed to act on skin without staining, rather than loaded up for the colour.
Face or body?
Both. It's formulated to the harder brief — gentle enough for facial skin — which makes it comfortable everywhere else by default.
My skin is oily. Won't a non-stripping bar make it worse?
Usually the opposite. Oily skin frequently over-produces because it's being stripped and compensating. Removing the strip tends to settle it. Patch test along the jaw for two days if you'd rather be careful.
Will the turmeric stain?
Not your skin — it rinses clean. Over months it can leave a faint warm cast on a pure-white washcloth, so use a darker one if that would bother you.
How long does one bar last?
About six weeks with twice-daily face use, kept on a draining dish away from the shower stream. Sitting in water, closer to two.

Every bar is made to order, so we pack and dispatch within 1–2 business days. Delivery then takes 2–3 business days in metro cities and 3–5 business days elsewhere in India. Delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend.
